Brocket Hall Wedding

Siobhàn was instrumental in making our Big Day a day to remember! From the moment we met, she totally 'got' us and our vision. She was fantastic from start to finish. Her connections in the wedding industry are amazing - there was nothing she couldn't deliver, and no detail was too small. She is completely unflappable, too! Siobhàn was always one step ahead of us, handling every bump in the road so we could sit back and enjoy the ride. It speaks volumes that almost a decade on, we are still in touch. I can't recommend Siobhàn highly enough!

Oh, my goodness. I've dreamed of Corrie's wedding for 29 years, planned it for one year and lived it for three days, but nothing could have prepared me for the actual event. It was beyond our wildest dreams. And that is largely due to you. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the hard work and effort you put into making this the wedding of the millennium.

Corrie and James wanted a wedding out of London, a venue where all their guests could stay. They thought they wanted somewhere contemporary, but all that changed when I showed them Brocket Hall.

The Wedding

Corrie's favourite colour is turquoise, and she really wanted to incorporate that into the wedding colour scheme. I was inspired by this and really wanted to make it work at Brocket Hall - a quintessentially English wedding with a modern twist.

They married at the church close to Brocket which was decorated in the colour scheme and included herbs, rosemary hearts and lavender sprinkled on the church walkway, giving off a lovely scent as guests crushed it underfoot as they arrived for the ceremony.

A fleet of vintage cars and buses transported guests to Brocket Hall where they were greeted by a pianist playing a white Baby Grand at the end of the driveway.

During the drinks reception outside, a magician and mind reader circulated amongst guests, keeping them entertained. Just as dinner was announced, we asked guests to watch the skies as a 4 plane, 10 minute breath-taking display took place over the hall, ending with smoke heart.

Dinner took place in the Ballroom where Corrie and James had named all the tables after their favourite restaurants and guest were entertained with a surprise performance by The Three Waiters.

Dancing took place downstairs in the boardroom which we had transformed with draping, mirrored bar, dancefloor and white furniture. Guest were ushered outside again at 10pm to enjoy a spectacular fireworks display over the lake.
