Classic Claridge's

Thank you so much for all your help and support! Thanks to you, I am actually feeling relaxed this week as I feel you have it all under control! I am so looking forward to the wedding day now! Thank you!

Tatiana and Davor wanted a quintessentially English wedding in the heart of London, but at the same, time wanted to incorporate elements of their heritage.

The Wedding

Their local church was St Luke's in Fulham and Claridge's was chosen for the reception.

The couple really wanted a party feel to their reception and so we were attracted to the Ballroom because of its 'blank canvas' feel and the potential to make it look quite different.

The church was decorated with white and ivory fragrant, summer flowers. After the service, guests were transported to Claridge's in Routemaster buses that took a detour to show the out-of-town guests some of the main London landmarks.

On entering the reception area, we handed out placement cards to guests as they were served champagne in the ballroom reception decorated with a stunning central display on a custom-made mirrored plinth. After 90 minutes, dinner was announced and guests made their way into the Ballroom.

The tables were dressed with all white linen with silver charger plates and complementary silver Camelot chairs. The flowers were displayed in 3 ways, giving the room interest. Pin spotting the tables created warm pools of light, enhancing the arrangements and candles.

We had Ballroom lit with a warm colour wash, again to create ambience as guests entered the room. The custom DJ booth and half-moon black gloss dancefloor was positioned at one end of the room. The 4 tier white chocolate Marquis cake was displayed on the dance floor so guests could admire it on their way to their tables.

After dinner, speeches and cake cutting, we announced a special treat as 4 Cossack dancers took to the floor to give a 15 min breathtakingly athletic and upbeat performance! It got everyone up on their feet and ready to dance! After this the DJ took over, while out in reception we had installed a photo booth for guests to have their fun photos taken as a memento for themselves and the couple.

Later in the night, guests were served cake, mini hamburgers and fish & chips to keep them going until the early hours.
