Siobhàn started her business in 1996 having identified a gap in the market for a fully dedicated wedding planning service. Her industry peers credit her with increasing public awareness of just what wedding event planning is and ending the myth that it is just for celebrities. Siobhàn is known for her creativity and sense of enjoyment. She is adamant that planning a wedding should be as enjoyable as the event itself and strives to ensure it is the case for all her clients.

Siobhàn was named 'Wedding Planner of the Year 2025 (London)' in Acquisition International's Business Excellence Awards.
February 2025
Siobhàn joined her fellow lecturers from The Event School London in speaking at the London Job Show at Westfield Stratford. Siobhàn delivered two presentations over the weekend on 'The Events Industry - no 2 days are the same!' and 'Top tips for entering the Events Industry'.
Siobhàn was invited as a guest to the Dubai Global Wedding Excellence retreat. Hosted by Dubai Tourism, this is a leadership platform for the global wedding industry.
DubaiGWE is Dubai Tourism's initiative to foster excellence in every aspect of wedding planning and to showcase Dubai's destination offerings for global weddings.
Siobhàn, together with The Event School London, won the Best Innovator Award at the 2022 Bridelux Awards. The innovation award recognised their development of bespoke training programmes for the wedding and event industry andacknowledged their innovative approach to student and graduate support throughout thepandemic and into recovery.
Siobhàn says "It was wonderful to win this industry award in recognition of the calibre of wedding planning courses we deliver, and the new talent we are integrating into the international wedding industry. Teaching these courses feels like I am giving something back to an industry that I have now had the pleasure of working in for 26 years! Developing grassroots talent, helping them find their place within the industry, and seeing them work professionally is hugely rewarding. Siobhàn was invited to host a panel discussion on 'Work/Life...balance?' at the Bridelux Symposium on 3rd October. "This has always been a topic close to my heart." says Siobhàn "Right from when I started my business, I strived to get this balance right in order to be able to fully enjoy both my work and personal life. Many people struggle to find this balance in our industry - an industry where we are largely client-led and working irregular hours. I was able to curate a great discussion with my industry colleagues Claire Potts (Peboryon), Britt-Marie Monks (The Honeymoon Fixer), and Charlotte Ricard-Quesada (La Fete) and provide some helpful takeaways for the audience based on our combined experiences."

9 October 2018 Siobhàn was delighted to speak at the Devon WedMeetup UK at National Association of Wedding Professionals' venue member The Dartington Hall Trust in October. Siobhàn gave tips on working with Wedding Planners and networking in the UK Wedding Industry as well as answering questions from the audience. She shared the stage with another NAWP member, Christine Jensen of Peboryon, who delivered a great talk on pricing. NAWP members ER Stationery and Sweet Temptations were also exhibiting at the event.
